World Cup is over. Hmm, the next one would be 4 years later liao. Abit wasted that the siaos didn’t watch the final together. Buay steady leh they all. Though, it was still an enjoyable experience tonning at Fahizul’s house which saw Zidane headbutting people. Oh not forgetting the day when I went Kenner’s house too to watch the 3rd/4th placing match between Germany and Portuga. But then, I slept just minutes before the match start. And when I woke up, it was already some half-a-day gone lmao.
Yup, went to Kenner house on Saturday night after a afternoon with him and another cousin, Ming. Went to play pool at first. This session was fun. Fun as in, my passion for pool is re-ignited. Really, my hands are so itch for another session of pool. Gonna ask Alaric or my cousins again for another session.
So after pool, we went over to citylink and I bought a new pair of slipper. The one I was wearing is very slippery until it malu-ated me earlier the day when I almost fell while alighting the mrt. I am sure a lot of people see it. Though when I turn around, everyone just pretend pretend. Must be laughing like what in the heart. Now the new slippers super good. Powerful grip even on wet surfaces. Now I can finally walk without looking as though I am skating or what. At night, went over to Kenner’s house to stayover for the world cup match. But I was really tired for the day and cannot dong. Lousy me.
Now on the next day’s match, my take on Zidane’s headbutting is that it is utterly pity to see someone as great a player as Zidane exiting the soccer scene in this manner. Such unglorified manner. To think it was his last match of his career and he exited like that. Just imagine he lead France to become the champion for the prestigious event and after that then he left. That would have been the best outcome seriously. There was a lot of speculations and lip-readings that suggest just what was said to provoked him. That brings me to something. You have something against someone, confront him upfront and aim him only. To drag one’s family in is actually just a fucked-up way of saying “I am a fucking ccb”.
Actually, it is quite funny in a sense when you see the headbutting. I mean, at least something like a push in retaliation would have been much less uncool then what? A headbutt? Alaric and me were laughing mad when the incident happened. Ben too. Fahizul just.. slept through. Aiya, Alaric and me anything also can laugh. Barthez oh Barthez LOl.
Eccentricity = 20
That’s the good thing watching a match with a group of friends. It can be really fun. The atmosphere we watched in is pretty good too. Total darkness with only the light from the TV plus a power air-con and a rainy night. Laughter filled the living room. I hope we didn’t disturbed Fahizul’s family.
Actually, I support Italy for if they win, that would means that I am a packet of seaweed and Pringles richer. Not forgetting I am already a kfc-meal richer. Lol. France open the game with a goal which was quite a sianded factor for me. Luckily it was quickly equalized. Actually France had a team which I thought wasn’t really that good at first and was already lucky to be able to make it into final. But while watching them play in the final game especially in the second round(prior to that, I never watch any of the French-played game), I must say, they are a quality team. I respect them for that.
Like I said, the tournament is over. 4 years shall it be for the next soccer craze.
1460 days left.
